Sharon has been dancing since forever and choreographing since '63! Sharon retired in 2018 after 55 years but is still an active participant in the studio happenings.

Missy and Tom Oswalt and Jeff and Eva Meyer bought the studio in 2018. Both couples had a daughter that danced at the studio and when Sharon decided to retire and the studio almost closed, they decided to take over! They LOVE this adventure and are blessed to work with amazing teachers, families and dancers to share the love of dance with the community!
Jenn Rovan
Jenn Rovan
Jenn has been dancing since 1980. She has been choreographing since 1992. She is a certified advanced dance instructor by the International Dance Teaching Standards. She teaches tap, jazz, and lyrical ballet. Jenn also is the director of the Sophisticates Competition Team. Her favorite genre of dance is tap.
Rorrie Miller
Rorrie Miller
Rorrie has been dancing for around 15 years with plenty of breaks in between. She is an architectural designer by day, but she loves her hobby jobs of being a Pilates instructor and dance teacher. Rorrie has a mini dachshund named Sawyer who she is obsessed with.

Olivia has been teaching dance since 2000. She has been choreographing for two years. Olivia is a proud Mom of two, Macey and Kai. She teaches ballet,pointe, strength and conditioning and hip hop. Her favorite genre of dance is ballet.
Fiona Stuart
Fiona Stuart
Fiona has been dancing for 16 years and has competed at both the high school and collegiate levels. She has been training at Sharon’s since high school, where her love for dance continued to grow and flourish. Fiona is currently attending the UPJ, where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education, and hopes to become a kindergarten teacher after graduation. Fiona is acrobatic arts certified and will be teaching acro classes.

Libby Gordon has been dancing for 17 years
She is currently a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh where she is studying Biology on the Pre-Med track with hopes to becomes a Pediatric Surgeon. Libby competed at SDS for many years and is back working with the competition team! Libby's favorite dance genres are Musical Theater and Tap.
Kyleigh Duranko
Kyleigh Duranko
Kyleigh has been cheering/tumbling since she was 3. This is her first year assisting at SDS. Kyleigh will be working with our advanced tumblers to enhance and help them progress their tumbling skills for acro.
Kyleigh is on the Penn State Cheerleading Team and she is majoring in special education.

Brenna Beckman has been dancing since she was four. Brenna is a senior at Ferndale high School. She will be assisting on Tuesdays and Fridays. Her favorite genre is contemporary.
Alexa Riggle has been dancing since she was three. She is a junior at Westmont High School. This will be her first year assisting Alexa's favorite genre is lyrical.
Everly Sherry has been dancing for 8 years. She attends Westmont High School This is her first year assisting. Her favorite genres are musical theater and lyrical.
Macee Stephens has been dancing since she was 2 years old. This is her second year assisting. She LOVES hip hop but her favorite style to compete is jazz. She is excited to help others build confidence, skills and the love for dance!
Allison Labar has been dancing since she was three. Allie attends Bishop McCort High School. This is her first year assisting. Her favorite genre is contemporary.
Aubrey Marron has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She is a sophomore at Westmont Hilltop. This is her second year assisting. Her favorite genre is acro.
Sophie Messina has been dancing for 12 years and competing for 6 years. She is a sophomore at Westmont Hilltop.This is her second year assisting. Her favorite genres are hip hop and contemporary.
Casmon has been dancing since age 5. Casmon is a senior at Ferndale High School. Her favorite genre is lyrical. She is also a member of the competition team.
Maggie has been dancing for 13 years. She is a senior at Conemaugh Valley High School. Her favorite genre is contemporary. She is also a member of the competition team.
